Yassmin V Foster is a scholar, artists, academic and sound (system) woman based in London. She is a PHD scholar in department of media, communications and cultural studies at Goldsmiths university. She is an international master in dance knowledge practice and heritage, with a proponent of her work which challenges the supposition that moment and dance created by black people are unworthy of scholarly investigation and validity.

Here are a few pieces of Jasmin’s work which she shared and talked to us about. I will be describing the aim and process behind each piece and offering my own critical response.
