Voice acting

For the voice of Abilene we managed to get a member of our class to help and voice act for her. This worked out well and fitted the character of Abilene, I would have to change the voice a bit to make it sound younger as Abilene is meant to be a little girl for part of the story. Once this was recorded I went about editing all the voice performances. This took some time to clean up all the voices by eliminating noise, compressing and re-pitching the voices to sound right for the game. I Also had to edit all the dialogue into audio clips for each line on the script, this makes it easier for the game making group to choose the correct dialogue.

The outcome of the voices sounded good and realistic according to the age of the characters. I uploaded these to our groups one drive to put into the scenes.
