Foley

The sound effects in my clip needed foley effects. These included footsteps, Hand washing and horse hooves. To do this myself and a partner booked out the foley studio and preformed to screen to get accurate foley sound effects. For grass footsteps we used tape to produce a crunching effect and for hand washing I filled up a bowl of water and washed my hands in it. This was challenging at first as everything had to be recorded in real time so fluidity was important, however we managed to get all the sound effects we wanted. I now have to edit them into the clip and have a look how foley is mixed in different sound systems.

For the horse hooves I intend on getting hold of a coconut and using this to produce the galloping effect that hooves have.
