Ideas, Future of sound in relation to the Metaverse

After researching this topic I’ve found some interesting subjects to explore in the future of sound art. These topics include the Metaverse virtual reality, Spartial audio and NFTS.

With the recent announcement of facebooks push to Join virtual reality or a “Metaverse” this introduces new avenues for sound to go down. The idea of a virtual reality becomes more accessible to people as large companies such as Facebook push this. This will mean sound has to progress and keep up with the visual aspect of this world. Therefore spatial audio will become a priority swell as new concepts such as NFT sound and conversational branding.
